SunPower to Build 20MW Solar Power Plant in Ariziona
Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Cooperative (SSVEC) and SunPower announced today that SSVEC has signed a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with SunPower to build a 20MW (AC) solar PV power plant in Cochise County, Ariz. Expected to be operational by the end of 2016, the plant is anticipated to generate enough electricity to serve the needs of approximately 4,500 homes. -

SolarWorld Joins Forces with Enphase to Develop Integrated AC Modules
SolarWorld and Enphase Energy Inc. have agreed to jointly develop a new generation of AC solar modules (ACM) for the worldwide market. The companies will collaborate on development, commercialization and marketing of an AC module that will integrate SolarWorld's Sunmodule solar panels with Enphase's microinverter technology.
