Canadian Solar Secures JPY12.0 Billion Credit Facility from Deutsche Bank
Canadian Solar Inc. today announced that it has signed a financing agreement pursuant to which Deutsche Bank AG, Tokyo Branch has agreed to provide a JPY12.0 billion ($97.2 million) senior non-recourse project finance credit facility to Canadian Solar for the construction of the Company's Kumamoto Mashiki solar power plant in Japan. -

SunEdison to Build 6.6MW of Solar in California
SunEdison, Inc. today announced that it has inked a 20-year power-purchase agreement with the city of San Diego that will see 6.6MW of solar installed across 25 city-owned sites. The city estimates that over the life of the agreement the solar systems will save its taxpayers $22 million. -

JA Solar to Supply 100MW of Modules to Solar Power Stations in Zimbabwe
JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. today announced that it has won a contract to supply 100MW of PV modules to large-scale ground-mounted solar power facilities in Zimbabwe. The projects will have a combined installed capacity of 300MW and the three contractors for these projects are ZTE, China MCC17 Group and Intratrek Zimbabwe. JA Solar will supply its PV modules to China MCC17 Group for the project it is constructing.
